Rafting & Prehistory

For those who want two days of adventure-sports and culture, with rafting in the middle of virgin crystalline rivers, climbing up and down in breathtaking waterfalls, knowledge of places of great historical value (with rock paintings dating back to 4600 years ago) all in complete safety, a Jaciara tour is absolutely highly recommended.


DAY 1: Morning departure to reach the city of Jaciara which is about 150 km from Cuiabá.
Fix your luggage at the hotel, we drive to the "Fumaça" waterfall, a splendid jump of 34 meters surrounded by an imposing and impressive canyon.
Once you arrive and have the necessary equipment, down to the river bed to make a raft of 3.8 km along the Lieutenant River Amaral, during which in addition to exponentially increase the level of adrenaline, we will know the various features of the river and its tributaries (some with hot springs).

DAY 2: Morning departure to reach the "Vale das Perdidas", an archaeological site that is surrounded by small streams, waterfalls and massive vegetation which will meet the "Gruta das Perdidas", featuring paintings and rock inscriptions dated between 3630 and 4610 years.
The site was discovered in 1984 by a French researcher and includes seven sites already listed, but only two are open to the public.
